Activity Overview

Join the forces of Mighty Coders! Starting your journey from Recruit to Superhero while opening the Learning to Code is just like learning taekwondo, gymnastics, or playing the piano. Consistent practice, week after week, and solving problems is important for success

The unique Coders Quest at Fernwood Elementary focuses on building Fundamentals of Computers and uses Logic to solve problems with a game-based approach.

We use If-Else control flows, While loops, Operators, and Variables to build on those foundations and reinforce with hands-on practice of newly learned skills. Our Code Mentors are always there to support our superheroes. Students enjoy building fun projects and advancing from Recruit to Superhero within the Forces of Mighty Coders.

Mighty Coders will provide its proprietary coursework, and devices for the duration of the class.

About Us: Mighty Coders was started in 2018 to empower students to create interactive projects, apps and games while working in a collaborative environment. Students have the opportunity to build and explore with the help of our Code Mentors. Our unique curriculum helps students to successfully transition from block to text-based coding while engaging them with games, surfaces, and animation. Logic and problem solving skills are sharpened while students create games and projects in Scratch, JavaScript, and Lua. We inspire you to learn by creating!
