Awesome apartment. Management and maintenance team are reliable. They always response an email quickly and work hard to make this apartment a better place (installing hand sanitizers, protecting the doors...etc). I personally like the room structure since it has kitchen and laundry in the micro studio. No need to be careful of contacting other people.
Its not a bad micro-studio, but it had some critical security concerns considering the established high crime reputation of the neighborhood (see photo of my former bike stolen from within the bike storage room). I personally would not elect to live on the ground floor or basement as those units are the least secure. Fellow residents did not have much respect for common spaces on the ground floor (as seen by the thrown soda in the hallway, only cleaned up after the weekend by staff). The rooftop deck was a nice amenity to have, however residents did not try to keep the sink and grill area clean while I lived here. If you want to live in a college dorm with entitled neighbors in one of the least desirable neighborhoods in Seattle, this is the place for you.
Lived and loved DXU from 2019-2020. Very responsive management and maintenance team. And loved the rooftop! My favorite “open-air gym” during quarantine 😂
